The Ministry of Aviation has explained why it is yet to return the N255m
BMW bullet-proof cars purchased by former Minister, Stella Oduah to
Coscharis motors as directed by the House Committee on Aviation.
According to the Supervising Minister of Aviation, Samuel Ortom, the
Ministry is trying to follow due process before it would release the
cars.
Ortom, who appeared before members of the Mrs Nkiruka Onyejiocha-led
committee yesterday, said that President Goodluck Jonathan and other
stakeholders have the final say on the controversial cars.
Addressing newsmen at the Assembly complex yesterday, Ortom said,
“Before we comply, we have to carry the President and other stakeholders
along.
