Justin Bieber Named Most Overexposed Celebrity

The Canadian singer, whose behaviour appears to have deteriorated recently, beats a host of reality stars to top Forbes' poll.

He has had a rocky few months and now Justin Bieber has been named the most overexposed celebrity.
The singer has topped Forbes' list of over 6,600 people after being given an overexposure rating of 67%, beating Kim Kardashian who came second.
The Baby singer has seen his wholesome image take a battering following arrests for allegedly driving under the influence and assaulting a limousine driver.
Despite being the second most popular celebrity on Twitter and selling millions of albums, it is his bad behaviour which has kept him in the press more recently.
Earlier this week video was leaked of the Canadian attending a deposition hearing where he was disrespectful and arrogant towards the lawyers questioning him.
A trial date of May 5 has been set after he was charged with DUI, resisting arrest and possessing an invalid driver's license after being stopped in Miami in January.

Kardashian received a rating of 61% as she continues to make her name a global brand, star in a reality show and travel the world promoting herself.
Her sisters Khloe and Khourtney and mother and manager Kris Jenner also made the list.
"When we began tracking attributes in 2001, being 'overexposed' was the kiss of death for any celebrity,” says Gerry Philpott, president of E-Poll Market Research.
"In today’s reality show world, however, it's a badge of honour as it fuels the fire that keeps programmes going from season to season."
Lindsay Lohan, who has made a new reality show for Oprah Winfrey's OWN network, came in third place.
Miley Cyrus, who is perhaps overexposed in other ways much of the time, was fourth.

Messi v Aguero: Who will decide the Barca-City clash?

Manchester City travel to Barcelona knowing only a stunning win will offer them a route to the quarter-finals of the Champions League after a desperately disappointing 2-0 defeat at Etihad Stadium in the first leg.
The man who punished Manuel Pellegrini's side that evening was Lionel Messi; his turn of pace drew a clumsy challenge from Martin Demichelis, which resulted in a red card. The Argentine coolly netted the awarded spot-kick to give Barca the edge, before Dani Alves' late effort made things a whole lot harder for City.

Officials of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, had in recent times sought to portray the leading opposition party as a party that was bent towards Muslims. The PDP had in particular taken shots at the constitution of the APC national executive which the PDP said was dominated by Muslims.

Malaysia Airlines MH370: hijacking and sabotage are 'areas of concern'

Malaysian police are investigating whether hijacking, sabotage, or the crew and passengers' personal or psychological problems could be to blame for flight MH370's disappearance, they said on Tuesday.
"Other than mechanical problems, these are the main areas of concern," said Malaysia's inspector general, Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar.
Malaysian authorities have said they have not ruled out any explanations for the Malaysia Airlines plane going missing.
The police chief also said that one of the passengers travelling on a stolen passport had been identified as a 19-year-old Iranian man, believed to be travelling to Europe to seek asylum, and was not thought likely to be a member of a terrorist group. The other man has yet to be identified.

Obesere Rape Saga : Alleged Victim Says She Has Been Experiencing Problems with Her Reproductive Organs Since The Alleged Rape

The lady Obesere allegedly raped is crying foul over the accusations that she was trying to blackmail Obesere in order to extort some money from him. She  also insisted that Obesere raped her and inserted a ring into her private parts. She further mentioned that she has been having problems with her reproductive organs since the alleged rape. She pleaded with Obesere to come and reverse any effect the insertion of the ring had on her, especially if it was done for ritual purposes. She claimed that the police were trying to cover the case and she would die if that happens.

Hear her:
“I knew him barely two weeks ago and we were talking business. But he raped me on our first meeting in his house. “Like I told you earlier, I met him through a friend who is much older than me — she is over 49 year old— and she told me that Obesere helped her in her business and he could do same for me.She was the one who arranged the meeting at Obesere’s house, but Obesere made me wait for at least five hours until it became late for me to go after the meeting.
Even when I insisted, he refused to let me go claiming his area was not safe and that everybody knew I was in his house.I slept over, but not in his room. He raped me and inserted a ring in my private part. I wouldn’t have gone to the Police if it was just the rape because it was my fault. As an adult, I should have known the danger of passing the night in a stranger’s house.
“I went to the police because I was bleeding and when I informed him about it, he didn’t take me seriously. He asked me to go to a private hospital in Ejigbo. But when I got there, the doctor did not even touch or examine me in any way.He just asked that I go for a scan, which is not done in that hospital. I left the hospital in pain and I reported the matter to the police. “I wanted the police to be aware of what happened and prosecute him for forcefully having sex with me against my wish.I also have to clarify the issue of wanting to blackmail him. From the beginning, I rejected all the money he offered me as settlement. You can ask the DPO at Isolo. He is aware that I rejected all the money he offered me. All I wanted was for him to be prosecuted for taking advantage of me because I slept in his house. “Also, I wanted him to explain to the Police why he inserted a ring into my private part that made bleed for two weeks and possibly reverse any ritual step he may have taken. As I speak with you, I am still going through pains. After the bleeding stopped, I have continued to have problems with my reproductive organs. That was why I went to the police, I wanted them to investigate and prosecute him.But what I am getting from the IPO is terrible. He is trying to destroy the case and set Obesere free at the expense of my life and dignity. “He discarded the medical report from the General Hospital and he upheld that of Obesere’s private hospital, saying their report was the correct one. As I speak with you I am not feeling well at all.”

Ekiti guber: Why I don’t trust INEC – Gov Fayemi

It was set to be a 40-minute interview with the Vanguard Political Desk that commenced shortly after 10 p.m. in the Governor’s Office in Ado Ekiti last Tuesday.

However, as Governor Kayode Fayemi churned out statistics on his adventure in the Ekiti political turf, the time keeping Chief Press Secretary, Yinka Oyebode, lapsed in his duty as the interview stretched beyond the hour.

Governor Fayemi, a one-time democracy activist, and civil society champion is at his most eloquent self when talking about how he is using the platform of office to champion the egalitarian ethos that he at one time could only talk about.

The daily soup kitchen for citizens, the N5,000 monthly cash benefit to the elderly and the uplifting of public schools are among indices that would give him attention in the congregation of social democrats. Excerpts:
Did  you have the intention of seeking a second term when you sought for election the first time?

Refusing sex during honeymoon no grounds for divorce

Refusing to have sex on honeymoon does not amount to intolerable cruelty, an Indian court ruled, overturning an earlier divorce decree, reports said on Monday.

The complainant had argued that his 29-year-old wife “failed at an essential obligation of marital life’’ by refusing to consummate their union during the four nights of their honeymoon.

The Times of India, quoted his lawyer as saying that the action left him in “tremendous mental agony.’’

The husband also did not like her going to a different city for work in shirt and trousers, according to his lawyer.
