Nation - Veteran German striker, Miroslav Klose, has called time on his national career at the age of 36, Goal reports.
The forward became the all-time World Cup top scorer in Germany’s
triumphant campaign in Brazil in July, surpassing Ronaldo’s previous 15
goals haul in the tournament.
He is the second member of the Germany World Cup winning team to quit
international football, after captain Phillip Lahm, who announced his
international retirement few days after the team from South America.
However, the Poland-born Klose will continue to play for his Italian seria A side – Lazio.
