Liverpool striker Luis Suarez, has admitted that “The truth is that I am scared of what happened to Falcao and Walcott,” Suarez told Sport 890 AM.
The 26-year-old is expected to lead Uruguay’s charge in Brazil and he is desperate not to miss the tournament, having seen Colombian frontman Radamel Falcao and England forward Theo Walcott, ruled out with knee ligament injuries.
“But you live in the present and you always give your best for your club – you can’t be thinking about that all the time.
“It is a unique opportunity and we all want to be there, but I prefer to focus my mind on the English league. The moment to think about the national team will arrive later.”
